Tetraxim Vaccine is a vaccine to protect infants and toddlers against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and polio. It helps develop immunity against the mentioned diseases by initiating a mild infection. Tetraxim Vaccine is administered by injection to infants and toddlers starting from the age of 2 months. Primary vaccination involves giving the injection at an interval of one month three times, usually at the age of 2, 3, and 4 months. The primary vaccination is followed by a booster dose 1 year after the primary injection during the second year of life.
